Maria and Jon - Romantic Style in Yosemite

This event will always be my perfect example of making sure my clients remember how important it is to communicate and keep exploring until you find exactly what you would like. While her colors have always remained the same as well as her actual flower choices but her style began with a very rustic modern look. We were first going with large clear glass square vases filled with river rock and manzanita popping out with white orchids scattered on the branches. As she kept seeing wedding details she realized that wasn't as fitting for her look so soon we revamped some styling and moved on over to tall footed glass vases. Then one day it all came together for her as she saw all of her details turning in to a very romantic and charming finish by pulling in milk glass. She utilized all of her own pieces, put together her seating chart, photo table and table names in various gold frames, used the gorgeous espresso brown satin chair covers, add lace accents and voila!!! Wedding Colors: espresso brown, jade green, soft pinks, creams Venue and Catering: The Ahwahnee Hotel, Yosemite Flowers: Ranunculus, Star Jasmine, peonies, cymbidium orchids, tulips, hydrangea, roses MariaJon Blog 1 MariaJon Blog 2 MariaJon Blog 5 MariaJon Blog 4 MariaJon Blog 7 MariaJon Blog 9 MariaJon Blog 11 MariaJon Blog 8 MariaJon Blog 10 MariaJon Blog 19 MariaJon Blog 13 MariaJon Blog 12 MariaJon Blog 14 MariaJon Blog 15 MariaJon Blog 16 MariaJon Blog 17 MariaJon Blog 18

Carrie and Jeff - Vibrant Vintage

Like most Yosemite couples, Carrie and Jeff planned their wedding from across the country. When she had first contacted me, we were able to discuss a variety of ideas that she had in her head for the overall look and feel for her wedding. The key points began with colors, wanting to do some fresh, bright bold hues of pinks and purples with some contrast of the spring green. They wanted a black tie affair with a vintage feel to tie in with The Ahwhanee Hotel so we accented her pieces with silver footed urns and ivory lace runners. Although they ended up enduring a rainy day in June, it was such a gorgeous event. Below are a couple images I was able to grab before departing to the venue of her bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet and one of each style centerpiece. A little bit country...A little bit wedding glam

Breanne and Roy created such a customized wedding that fit their style perfectly. Breanne is a horse trainer and Roy raises cattle. They live on a hill about the ceremony site over looking hundreds of acres of their property out in the golden rolling hills of Snelling. They had a huge pole barn where Breanne envisioned the reception. When we first walked the property she was showing me the area of the reception which was still full of hay and there was the coolest old rustic wagons that were perfect to tie into their style. Her colors were black and white and she asked for all bright, spring florals and that is exactly what we designed!
The personal details that they featured at the wedding was a mashed potato bar, cigar bar and signature martinis to greet the guests!
